Air Force Maj. Michael R. Hogsed
Air Force Maj. Michael R. Hogsed has been selected for promotion to the rank of lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force.
Hogsed is an engineering and threat branch chief assigned to the U.S. Strategic Command at Offutt Air Force Base, Omaha, Neb. The major has served in the military for 14 years.
He is the son of James H. and Barbra L. Hogsed of Fort Myers.
His brothers are Brian K. Hogsed of Orlando, Fla., and David B. Hogsed of Fort Myers.
In 1992, Hogsed graduated from San Antonio Christian School, Texas, and received a doctorate in 2005 from the Air Force Institute of Technology, Dayton, Ohio.
