The Florida Everblades will face off against the Orlando Solar Bears in two preseason hockey games at Germain Arena on Oct. 9 and 10, the team announced Wednesday.

The two-game set with Orlando drops the puck at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 9, and 7 p.m. on Oct. 10. The in-state rivals will meet a total of 14 times during the regular season.

The Everblades open the 2015-16 ECHL regular season at Germain Arena on Friday and Saturday, Oct 16 and 17 against the Gwinnett Gladiators.

The Blades also made several changes to the regular season schedule all involving the Solar Bears.

A total of four game dates were changed, with only one of those games affecting the team’s home schedule.

A list of the revised game dates:

Florida at Orlando, originally scheduled for Friday, Nov. 6, now will be played on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m. (at Amway Center);

Florida at Orlando, originally scheduled for Monday, Nov. 23, was rescheduled for Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at 7 p.m. (at Amway Center);

Florida at Orlando, originally scheduled for Friday, April 8, 2016, is moved to Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at 7 p.m. (at Amway Center);

Orlando at Florida, originally scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, will be played on Friday, April 8, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. (at Germain Arena).

Individual game tickets for both the preseason and regular season games go on sale at a later date.
