Ten of the 12 Island Coast High School senior baseball and football athletes were recognized at a ceremony Wednesday in the school auditorium marking the signing of their college scholarship letters-of-intent. The athletes on hand included: Nelson Candelario attending Baldwin Wallace; Donald Collier going to DePauw; Kyle Harding and Ryne Manka heading to Florida Christian College; Joshua Guffey, Storm Jackson and Phillip Woolbright choosing Heidleberg University; Jonathan Numa going to Methodist University; Miguel Carmona picking Ava Maria; and Kyle Fitzgerald heading to Otterbein. Football athletes Brian and Scott Bosworth (not in the picture) chose to attend Dean College.
