Rainy and windy conditions got the best of the field of participants Tuesday in the second round of stroke play in the 62nd U.S. Junior Amateur at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J.

Cape Coral’s Chase Marinell missed the cut after shooting an 11-over-par 83 in the second round.

Marinell, 17, opened with a 75 on Monday, finishing with a two-round total of 158. He tied for 97th.

The top 64 players advanced to the match play tournament, which begins Wednesday.

Inclement weather forced delays and made scoring difficult. The scoring average Tuesday was 79.974.
