There’s a charity book sale 9 a.m.-3 p.m. today at the Cape Coral High School fieldhouse to benefit a library project in Najile, Kenya.

Cape AD Bob Plageman and his wife, Mary, volunteered in the town last summer and initiated a book drive in March and April, which collected close to 2,000 books.

Those who attend the book sale can buy a bestseller, authentic Massai jewelry or a bookmark to sign and send to the students in Massailand, Kenya. Hardbacks are $1 and paperbacks 50 cents. Cash donations also accepted.
