A book sale will take place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cape Coral High School Field House to benefit a library project in Najile, Kenya.

Cape Coral High athletic director Bob Plageman and his wife, Mary, volunteered in the town last summer and initiated a book drive in March and April, which collected close to 2,000 books.

On Saturday, those who attend the book sale can buy a bestseller, authentic Massai Jewelry or a bookmark to sign and send to the students in Massailand, Kenya.

Hardbacks are $1 and paperbacks 50 cents. Cash donations will also be accepted.
