Eagles snap losing streak
FORT MYERS (AP) – Kyle Marks scored 19 points as Florida Gulf Coast defeated Kennesaw State 61-57 Monday night.
Delvin Franklin and Reggie Chambers also scored 12 points apiece for the Eagles (11-18, 7-11 Atlantic Sun Conference), who snapped a three-game losing streak with the win.
Marks made two free throws with 4:08 remaining to tie it 54-54. Two minutes later, Kennesaw State (7-18, 3-13) took a 57-56 lead with a layup from Zadrian Gibson, but the Eagles, 11-6 at home, ended the game on a 4-0 spurt.
