Having taken the next step to the Florida State League championship series by virtue of knocking off the Dunedin Blue Jays Wednesday night, the Fort Myers Miracle now wait to find out their next opponent.

It will be either the Daytona Cubs or the Palm Beach Cardinals, who are playing for the Eastern Conference championship. The Cardinals held on for a 5-4 victory Thursday night to even the best-of-three series at one game apiece. The deciding game is scheduled for Friday night.

The Miracle are headed to their first league championship series since 1995. They will host the first two games of the best-of-five series at Hammond Stadium Saturday and Sunday. Both games are set to start at 7:05 p.m.
