For the third straight game in the Sarasota Baseball Classic, Bobby Borchering belted a home run in the first inning for Bishop Verot. His fourth homer of the season helped the Vikings nail down an 8-1 victory Wednesday over Miami Braddock.

Borchering finished with two extra-base hits and three RBI. Anthony Vlahovic drove in three runs and Josh Hinkle drove in two runs.

The Vikings (8-10) advance to a fourth game Thursday against an opponent and at a time to be determined.
