To the editor:

Everyone is doing such wonderful things during the COVID-19 crisis. But there is one group we are forgetting and that’s our trash collectors.

They haul away everything from rotten food to used masks. I saw a collector pick up some trash today and some fell out of the truck. As he picked it up, his glove fell off. And I began to think what a hard job to do, especially at these times we are going through.

We should all thank them for what they do every day.
