To the editor:

In reviewing Peter Pfluger’s letter to the editor in the Jan. 17 Breeze it is clear that he has a great disdain for President Trump. My only suggestion is that when he talks about how President Trump is infecting our nation’s Constitution, rule of law and morals to mention a few, he fails to review the past.

For example, did you ever notice how the media always asked Ivanka about her father’s treatment of women but never ask Chelsea (Clinton) that same question?

In discussing Presidential turnover, just a reminder that Obama replaced almost every single Ambassador appointed by his predecessor in 2008. Yet, when Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch appointed by the Obama Administration, was recalled in 2019, she stated that Trump treated her bad. If Ambassador Chris Stevens would have survived the coverup attack on Benghazi he could have said, “Obama treated me bad.”

Let us not forget Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry who was murdered by weapons sent to Mexico by the Obama Administration. Weapons found at the border for this murder were part of the Obama Administration’s Fast and Furious Operation. Obama fired the whistleblower that exposed information on Agent Terry’s murder during the Fast and Furious Operation cover-up. Attorney General Eric Holder was given Executive Privilege by President Obama during this cover up investigation of this deadly-but-forgotten government gun-running scandal under the Obama Administration.

Nancy Pelosi states no one is above the law. Yet, Ambassador Yovanovitch told the NY Post and the Congressional body during a hearing that the Obama administration prepped her to answer questions about Hunter Biden. So does that “no one above the law” also pertain to Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Ihlan Omar, Al Sharpton, illegal leakers, Russian Hoaxers, treasonous coup scammers and 30 million illegal aliens?

With those so upset with Trump, who is by no means infallible, you would think he stole 90% of the Haitian Relief Fund, sold 20% of our uranium to Russia, deleted 33,000 emails and let innocent Americans die in Benghazi, in listing just a few of these past crimes.

Putting on blinders does not erase the truth. We all understand that talking about draining the swamp in Washington, D.C. is disruptive to those many congressional members, ex-presidents, lobbyist and other politicians that have acquired great wealth through their votes and actions. When I think of this great divide among party lines I often wonder which of these officials, elected or other, are thinking about the American people as opposed to loss of income in lining their own pockets. The great fear for many politicians is not about the rights and wrongs, but rather about retaining and making more money. Review the following wealth of President Trump, President Obama and the Clintons before running for office and after. Prior to running for office President Trump’s worth was $4.5 billion. It is now $3 billion. President Obama’s wealth was $3 million. It is now $40 million. The Clintons’ wealth was $480,000. It is now $100 million. Check with Snopes….. Yet, Trump is the guy trying to steal your money (smile).

Lastly, I am surprised the letter did not include how eliminating terrorist General Qasem Soleimani was a mistake in escalating toward war with the rouge terrorist nation of Iran. Maybe that should be asked of the families of U.S. troops who died because of Soleimani’s terrorist actions. My answer being, “For those Americans who would give up their freedom for their safety, deserve neither freedom nor safety.”

I am not here to go tit-for-tat. We all know that freedom for those of us who fought for it has a flavor the protected will never know.

Wake Up America and think about our next generation’s livelihood instead of selfishly thinking only about ourselves.
