Old golf course site needs to be mowed
To the editor:
I wonder how many homeowners or businesses would have allowed the vegetation around their premises to grow to such ugly proportions without being assessed a few thousand dollars in fines?
I understand the golf course is private property and I see no other private property in the Cape in such disrepair.
Should not the people who presided over the destruction of the course be made responsible for at least cutting the “grass?”
I have lived in Cape Coral since 1976 and while weeds do look better than buildings there should be no reason for this neglect in the heart of our community.
What say you?
