Lest we forget her, “allow me:”

On Monday, May 16, 2011 there appeared in the other newspaper a very limited obituary which read “Golden, Ann Marie 47, of Fort Myers died May 9. Arrangements by Gallagher American Family Funeral Home.”

This was, sad to say, “our Annie” our beautiful Annie of V.F.W. Post 5463. She had died one day after visiting our post on Mothers Day, May 8, 2011. Rest in Peace our darling girl, on those crossroads of time, as you meet and greet with Johnny Hall, Johnny Logan, Johnny Morusko and all the other compatriots who you gave so much pleasure to in your time of existence here on this side of the veil.

We will forever miss you “Go with Love.
