To the editor:

The latest Immokalee march with less than 50 illegals was a huge flop. They were demanding, get this, immigration reform, according to news reports in another paper in May.

I assume the reporter was new in our area with very little knowledge of Lee County. She also was mixed up between the definition of illegal alien and legal immigrant. She better not lock horns with John Sullivan, Dick Kalfus and the rest of the heavy artillery writers in Cape Coral. They will take her apart put her together and, just for fun, repeat the exercise. As for the 2006 pro immigration(?) demonstration 80 to 85 percent of the so -called 75,000 demonstrators were from all over the state and the vast majority were illegals. They hope/pray President Obama supports the illegals. A move like that will be good-by – adios – ciao to his second term. He might do it if he gets re-elected.

The article writer did not even know the state of Florida forbids hiring illegals. Some contractors will take the chance hiring illegals loaning them money with extremely high rates.
