Spitting in the face of Americans
To the editor:
American International Group (A.I.G.) is making a mockery of the stimulus program, making a fool of President Obama, the administration and the Congress and is laughing all the way to the bank. After crying poverty and begging for money, $170 billion was given to this gang of scammers, who then turn around and give away $165 million to the exact “monkeys” who caused this problem in the first place.
Talk about rewarding people for being dumb, crooked, or both, this is the ultimate slap in the face to the American taxpayer.
The president says he’s outraged. The Congress screams even louder, babbling about morality and the lack of it. Secretary Geitner looks puzzled about what to do next. And, the president’s press secretary looks like humpty dumpty as he stands before the media, making noise but saying nothing meaningful.
We need action, and need it now. We need every Congress person to demand immediate arrests and prosecutions of every A.I.G. bum who has recklessly ruined the stimulus program. This not a Republican or Democratic issue, this is a matter of Congress people doing their jobs and standing up for the Americans they have sworn to protect. Congress people, if you won’t do your jobs, at least, stand up, do the right thing and resign. We don’t need conversation while this rape is in progress, we need action, today, right now immediately!
Congress people have lost the respect of the American people, and the Obama administration looks very weak. This is an opportunity to put a better face on what is obviously a conglomeration of babbling idiots.
