No more, no way

To the editor:

The last time I wrote I was supporting Sen. Clinton, things have changed and we have a very good candidate that won the support of all Democrats, Sen. Obama. To make sure that the readers understand, I was not supporting Sen. Clinton because she was a woman. I am highly insulted that the GOP would think by putting up a woman as VP that they would have my vote. I will list why that is a vast mistake:  McCain is a carbon copy of what we have had for eight years and we need a change in leadership; Gov. Palin is not ready for the second most important job of our country. She has ties to the oil industry, believes in drilling everywhere even if it destroys our environment and protected animals.

I would suggest that every voter look at the whole picture, not the lies that the McCain campaign is putting out there. I demand the best to be my President, don’t you?

Sen. Obama has stated that he is for protecting the working people, the retired, and the future for our children. He is not raising taxes on the average citizens. Do you believe the rich should pay their share especially the ones who are making millions? This is not punishment for those that create job, but making the playing field fair for all. This will not cause small business to close but will require the big oil companies to pay a fair share. Sen. Obama will stop these big corporations from out-sourcing American jobs while at the same time receiving tax breaks from our government.  We need a change, someone who is not afraid to stand up to lobbyists who are working for companies with huge profits. We need someone who can talk with foreign heads to mend the void that this administration has created, we need someone who will start the process of clearing up our deficit and create a fair balance between exports and imports, most of all a President who will work to create health care for our children.

Sen. Clinton has asked her supporters to get behind Sen. Obama and this is what we need to do for the changes that are needed. If you believed in her before the primary, you must therefore still believe that she wants what is best for our country. No More, No Way, Obama all the way, because my vote is important and not for sale to any politician.

I’m not giving my vote away because McCain thinks women are not smart enough to see through the tricks and misinformation by McCain. Females turn away untrue ads; we don’t blindly cast our votes.

We deserve a better future for all; we deserve to live in peace, not entering into wars that are unfounded. We need families in their homes, not on the street because there are no jobs due to moving them to foreign countries. We need Obama/Biden in order to protect our country and the American economy.
