Fire them all
To the editor:
The lesson to be learned from the Congressional debacle which left millions of Americans sadly suffering is simple. We’ve got the wrong people in Congress and they all have got to go! These people who are being paid regularly. Who have no concerns about feeding their families. Who have no home mortgages that are on the brink of foreclosure. Who are living “the good life” and laughing all the way to the bank. Who are not struggling to keep a business afloat.
Those ingrates have chosen to turn their backs on a desperate national disaster. Talk about “throwing people under the bus.”
Members of Congress decided that they were going to ignore the calls of the brightest financial minds in the nation and instead permit the country to flounder in a painful and dangerous position that would serve to provide turmoil for the entire world. It was selfish, irresponsible, arrogant and stupid. Yes… we do need change. We need new faces in Congress and we desperately need men and women who are in touch with the feelings of the American people and who sincerely care about our well being. Let’s show our disgust when we go to the polls in November…every incumbent needs to be fired.
