To the editor:

I thank all voters in Lee County, that took the time to go out and vote this past primary. Even though I didn’t spend nearly as much as my two former opponents, I think I did pretty good, thanks to all of you!

I will be very sad if all three current commissioners get re-elected again, with the sorry state of our affairs. With their lousy leadership, we became No. 1 in job losses, and home foreclosures. Can we really afford more of them?

I say new blood is needed, and I hope everyone joins me in voting for A.J. Boyd for District 1, Len Cochran, for District 3, and Steve (Sonny) Haas, for District 5.

I’m also rooting for Jeff George for Congress. Jeff is running NPA against Connie Mack and Burt Saunders.

Once again, many thanks to all my supporters and here’s to 2010!
