Barbara Joan “Jo” Culbertson

Barbara Joan “Jo” Culbertson, 81, a Cape Coral resident since 1970, formerly of Colorado Springs, Colo., died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, in Fort Myers. She was born April 25, 1931 in Meadville, Pa., to Lewis and Rachel Ribb.

She was a professional real estate agent with Encore! Realty Services, Cape Coral, and was previously a part of the Raso Realty team, Cape Coral, as well as being an active member of the Cape Coral Association of Realtors. She had the honor of being named the Cape Coral Association of Realtors’ Realtor of the Year in 2007.

She is survived by two sons, Robert “Bob” Culbertson III of Cape Coral and David Lee Culbertson of Ft. Lauderdale and Thailand; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her 12 siblings.

Memorial services were held at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 7, at the New Hope Baptist Fellowship Church, 431 Nicholas Parkway, East, Cape Coral, with Pastor Mike Faircloth officiating.
