Jill McArthur Palmer, 48 of Cape Coral, formerly of Scotland, passed away Friday, Aug. 12, 2011. She was born on Sept. 1, 1962, in Summit, N.J. She worked as a medical transcriptionist. She enjoyed gardening and painting.

She is survived by her loving family, including her mother, Christine Brown McArthur; sons, Michael McArthur and Logan Palmer; and husband, Bob Palmer.

She was predeceased by her father, George McArthur, in 2005.

There will be a celebration of her life at 11 a.m., Friday Aug. 19, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 S.W. Pine Island Road, Cape Coral.
