Edna Larkey Bickford

Edna Larkey Bickford, 81, of Cape Coral died Friday, June 24, 2011, at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral. She was a resident of Gulf Coast Village for the past 18 months.

She was born Sept. 15, 1929, in Kentucky and lived in Hialeah, Fla., for the majority of her 55-year marriage.

The wife of Bert, who passed away in 2007, she is survived by her sons, Alan (Cindy) Bickford and Paul (Mary) Bickford, all of St. James City; her grandchildren, Stephen Bickford, Justin Bickford, Kelly Bickford (Erik) VanBenschoten and Courtney Hanrahan; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 3, at 1 p.m., at Gulf Coast Village, 1333 Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral.
