Tara A. Brissette, 28, of Cape Coral passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011.

She was born May 18, 1982 in Lowell, Mass., the daughter of Normand R. and Julie B. (Reid) Brissette Jr.

She graduated from Cape Coral High School in 2001 and later attended Edison State College. She worked for Rib City and later Pinchers at the Holiday Inn on Fort Myers Beach. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. She was a very vibrant woman and very much enjoyed life.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her beloved son, Braxton R. Killam; her loving mother, Julie Brissette; two sisters, Katelyn Brissette and Kelsey Brissette; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father, Normand R. Brissette, and her brother, Sgt. Jared R. Brissette.

Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Gendron Funeral & Cremation Services Inc. Funeral service will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Vineyard Community Church on Southeast 47th Terrace in Cape Coral.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tara’s loving memory may be made to the Braxton Killam Foundation at any Wachovia Bank.
