Celia Rose Chambers
Celia Rose Chambers, 55, of Cape Coral died Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Formerly of Bronx, N.Y., she had resided here for the past 20 years. She was born January 25, 1956, in Jamaica, West Indies, to Osbourne and Doris Chambers. She worked as a secretary for the court system in Fort Myers. She is survived by her mother, Doris; son, Corey; sister, Karlene (Alphonso) Wildman; two brothers, Raymond and Gary; nieces; nephews; cousins; aunt and uncle; and several other family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, Osbourne, in 2006, and her sister Normadelle in 1999.
Services with Holy Communion will be held Saturday, May 21, at 10 a.m., at Church of the Epiphany, 2507 Del Prado Blvd., S. Cape Coral.
Interment to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions to the Church of the Epiphany.
