Luisa Galea

Luisa Galea, 83, of Cape Coral, died Monday, July 20, 2009, at Hope HealthCare Services. She was born in Puerto Rico.

She married Charles in New York in 1947. She moved to Cape Coral in 1983 from Miami.

She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church where she was a devoted member of the prayer group.

Her family includes her husband of 62 years, Charles of Cape Coral; sons, Charles (Patricia) Galea and John A. (Rosa) of Pinecrest, Fla.; two brothers; four sisters; and five grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew Catholic Church with burial to follow. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Metz Chapel of Harvey-Engelhardt-Metz Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1306 Lafayette St.
