Arlene Marie Pyne

Arlene Marie Pyne, 63, of Cape Coral, passed away Monday, March 9, 2009. She was born Aug. 8, 1945, in Philadelphia, to Henry and Mary (nee Spencer) Shopulski.

She moved to the area 11 years ago from Warrington, Pa.

She enjoyed everything to do with crafts. She always enjoyed having a good time with friends at the Light House Tiki, the American Legion and the Eagles.

She is survived by her loving family, including her husband of 44 years, John E. Pyne Sr.; daughters, Nancy Marie McManus and Joelle (Dennis) Smith; grandchildren, Alyssa, Katie and Craig; and father-in-law, John Joseph Pyne.

Her son, John Jr., preceded her in death in 2007.

A Mass of resurrection will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church. The Rev. John Deary will be the celebrant.
