Anna Malatesta
Anna Malatesta, 81, of Cape Coral, passed away Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009. She was born March 25, 1927, in Elmer, N.J., to George and Mary Wozunk, now deceased.
For many years she worked as a manager in ladies’ apparel. After her retirement, she and her husband owned and operated AA Crafters. They did woodworking, crocheting and sewing, and traveled in South Jersey to many craft shows.
She was a communicant of St. Andrew Catholic Church
She is survived by her daughter, Marianne (John) Kmetz of Cape Coral; son, Albert (Debbie) Malatesta of Tampa; grandchildren, Stacey Malatesta Smith, Brandi Malatesta, Clint Malatesta, Blake Malatesta, Kristen Kmetz and Alaina Naraine; great-grandchildren, Regan and Corbin Smith, Kyle Kominar ad Joseph Kmetz; and sister, Helen Wolbert of Woodbury, N.J.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. Malatesta, who passed in 2007.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the chapel of Coral Ridge Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
