Charles Marvin "Chad" Folden Jr.

Charles Marvin “Chad” Folden Jr. passed away Friday, Feb. 13, 2009.

He had resided in Cape Coral since 2001 after retiring from the DuPont Plant in Belle, W.Va.

He was an active member of the Caloosa Riders Bicycle Club since moving to Florida. In 2002, he achieved a dream of many years when he rode his bicycle cross-country from Virginia to Oregon.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betsy Folden; brother, Richard (Wanda) Folden of Montgomery, W.Va.; sons, Cody Folden of College Station, Texas, and Travis (Christie) Folden of Waynesboro, Va.; and granddaughter, Hannah Folden.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the North Fort Myers Church of the Nazarene, 6781 Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers.
