Alex Rosete

Jan 5, 2009

Alex Rosete, 29, passed away suddenly Wednesday evening, Dec. 31, 2008.

He was a recent graduate of Florida State University, having received his Bachelor of Science in information technology from the FSU College of Information and Communication on Dec. 13, 2008. He is a 1998 graduate of Mariner High School, and recently relocated from Tallahassee to Tampa to pursue his career.

He was a caring, loving, warm, trusting and compassionate human being who loved life and enjoyed to the fullest the times he spent with friends and family.

He was proud to have earned the distinction of being the seventh member among three generations of the Rosete family to graduate from FSU. He was a tremendously dedicated fan of FSU sports and an eternally optimistic fan of the Oakland Raiders.

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Randi Rosete of Cape Coral; sister, Logan Mariel Rosete and fiance, Justin Germano, of Cape Coral; aunts and uncles, George and Melinda Carroll Rosete of Maui, Hawaii, Ron Bell and Betty Haney of West Virginia, and Steven Bell of North Carolina; grandparents, O. Dwight and Olga Bell and Susann Rivera and William Estep, all of Cape Coral; numerous cousins from around the country; and beloved dogs, Pinky and Tyson.

We, his parents, along with the rest of his family, are proud and honored to have spent these short 29 years with Alex. He was a wonderful and respectful son.

A ceremony for family and friends will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at his parents home in Cape Coral.

Those wishing to remember his generosity and kindness toward all living beings are asked to make a donation to the Quality Life Center, P.O. Drawer 1290, Fort Myers, FL 33902-1290, or the Animal Care Trust Fund for Lee County Animal Services, 5600 Banner Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33912.
