Orlando Trombetta
Orlando Trombetta, 81, a resident of Cape Coral, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at the Rehabilitation and Health Care Center of Cape Coral.
He was a native of Scranton, Pa., coming to Florida from Endicott, N.Y. He worked for the Binghamton Slag Roofing and later with the Cape Coral Water Company. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, Cape Coral.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Joanne Duffek.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Trombetta of Cape Coral; his in-laws, Connie (Dominic) Salamido, Frances (Frank) Palmateer and Vito Argento (Eleanor); and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 11:30 a.m., today, Jan. 3, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery with entombment to follow. Friends may call today from 10 a.m. until service time.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
