Patricia L. Costa

Patricia L. Costa of Cape Coral passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the compassionate care of Hope Hospice.

She was born on June 16, 1928, in Staten Island, N.Y., to Adam and Louise Stanzak. She moved to Florida as a young child, growing up in Ft. Pierce and Key West. She was among the earliest residents in Cape Coral, moving to the area in 1959. She was a charter member and elder of the Faith Presbyterian Church and was active with the Cape Coral Community Theater, Fort Myers Toastmistress Club and the Cape Coral Italian-American Club. She was a long-time Realtor in the city.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Costa, and is survived by her daughters, Pamela (Mike) Bennett, Robin (Randy) Parmelee, Lea (Paul) Coblentz, Roberta (Don) Klusmeier and Maria (Mark) Sudol; by her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her loving brother and sister-in-law Adam and Barbara Stanzak and their family. She will be greatly missed by her faithful companion, Daisy.

A memorial service celebrating Pat’s life will be held at Faith Presbyterian Church, 4544 Coronado Parkway, Cape Coral, Monday, Nov. 24, at 11 a.m., with a reception following the service at Palmetto-Pine Country Club.
