Mary H. Clemens

Mary H. Clemens, 81, of North Fort Myers, passed peacefully Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, in her home. She was born in Allentown, Pa., the daughter of the late Robert and Arlene Rex Riley.

She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Her hobbies included playing bingo at the K of C at St. Francis Catholic Church.

She was the last of five generations in Allentown, Pa.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joseph Clemens of North Fort Myers; son, Paul (Imelda) Clemens; daughters, Mary Clemens, Joann (Peter) Chiauzzi and Frances (Tony) Jimenez; cousin, Silas “Sonny” (Dolly) Rodenbach of Eastern, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph W. Clemens, and grandson, Joseph Chiauzzi.

Visitation was held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today in St. Francis Catholic Church in Fort Myers. Burial will follow in Coral Ridge Cemetery.
