Rose Marie Kapitan

Rose Marie Kapitan, 85, of Cape Coral, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, at Hope Hospice North in Cape Coral. She was born Feb. 23, 1923, in Fitchburg, Mass., a daughter of Carmine and Carmilla Sinniscalchi Iannuzzi, now deceased.

She devoted her life to her loving family. She had resided here for the past 21 years, coming from Fitchburg, Mass.

She is survived by her daughters, Robin (Kenneth) Perreault of Cape Coral and Randi (Jerry) Stephens of Seabrook, N.H.; and grandchildren, John (Tiffany) Perreault and Alex Stephens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph L. Kapitan, who passed away Aug. 11, 1996.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Coral Ridge Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Deary officiating. The family received friends from 1-2 p.m. Thursday prior to services. Interment was in Coral Ridge Cemetery.
