Petra Alicea

Petra Alicea, 80, of Cape Coral, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at Cape Coral Hospital. She was born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, a mother of two.

She was a retired factory worker and had resided in Cape Coral for the past six years, coming from Bronx, N.Y. She attended St. Andrew Catholic Church.

Survivors include her children, Carmen Vazquez of Cape Coral and Peter Rivera of New York; brother, Juan Alicea; sister, Clara Alicea; grandchildren, Nelson and Natasha Busigo, Wanda Duque-Vega and Richard Vega, Ruben Velazquez and Melisa Velazquez; and great-grandchild, Richard Vega.

The funeral was held at 6 p.m. Monday at Memorial Garden Funeral Home.
