Joseph Somoracki

Joseph Somoracki, 86, of Cape Coral, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at Coral Trace Nursing Home in Cape Coral. He was born July 22, 1922, in Nutley, N.J., a son of the late Joseph and Rose Czarneski Somoracki.

He was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Navy.

He was retired from the automotive industry, and owned and operated a body repair shop. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and was a boating enthusiast for many years.

He is survived by his son, Robert A. Somoracki of Cape Coral, and a grandchild.

At his request, there will be no funeral services.
