Gayle Eileen Brewer

Gayle Eileen Brewer, 97, of Cape Coral, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2008. She was born Aug. 12, 1910, in Palmyra, Ind.

She moved to Cape Coral in 1964. She was a member of the Cape Coral First United Methodist Church and the Friendship Circle of United Methodist Women.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Dick) Middaugh of Cape Coral and Barbara (Julian) Gregory of Fort Myers; grandchildren, Scott and Jody Neubert, Brad Middaugh and Eric Gregory; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bige Brewer, in 2002 and a granddaughter, Susan Middaugh, in 1974.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cape Coral First United Methodist Church.
