Mildred N. Sproul

Mildred N. Sproul, 94, of Cape Coral, died Saturday, April 5, 2008. The daughter of Harry and Amelia Cluett, now deceased, she was born in 1914 in Hazlet, N.J.

She married former Police Chief Leroy Sproul in 1942 and they shared 48 years together prior to his death in 1990. Formally of Keyport, N.J., she had been a resident of Cape Coral since 1988. She enjoyed being a member of the Grandmothers Club and caring for family.

She was the beloved mother of Judith (Bill) Flynn of Cape Coral and Robert (Marsha) Sproul of Atlanta, Ga.; and dearest grandmother to grandchildren, Michael Flynn, Kristin Flynn, Brian Sproul and Charlene Franklin. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Sproul and Yusuf Gudmalin.

Funeral services and burial will take place in Keyport, N.J., later in the week.
