Margaret L. McDaniel

Margaret L. McDaniel, 87, of Cape Coral, died Monday, March 31, 2008. She was born July 20, 1920, in Baltimore, Ohio, to Merrill and Nettie Tharp, now deceased.

She moved to Cape Coral in 1969. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She was a member of the Cape Coral First United Methodist Church, the Cape Coral Republican Club and the Order of the Eastern Star, Parthenia Chapter 124, in Baltimore, Ohio.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, collecting elephants, shelling on Sanibel, playing cards and doing her volunteer work.

Surviving members of her family are daughters, Leslee (Tom) Salyers and Gayle (Glen) Moser, all of Cape Coral; and grandson, Geoff (Tara) Moser of Cape Coral.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Paul L. McDaniel.

Private graveside funeral services will be held at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
