Joseph F. Giardine

Joseph F. Giardine, 82, of Cape Coral, passed away Monday, March 24, 2008. He was born Aug. 7, 1925, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Raymond and Carmela Giardine.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He worked for many years as a welder, latherer and carpenter. Over the many years, he built many homes.

He was a member of Carpenters Union Local 1750 in Cleveland, Ohio. He moved to Cape Coral in 1983 from Cleveland, Ohio.

He is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 60 years, Rosaline Giardine; sons, Raymond (Monica) Giardine and Gary (Kathy) Giardine; grandchildren, Annette Haber, Renee Bishop, Jennifer Leo, Lynn Giardine and Kristofer Kauff; and great-grandchildren, Anna Haber, Jackson Stoltz and Anderson Bishop.

Funeral services will be held today at 10 a.m. at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, at 1630 Pine Island Road. Interment will follow at the Coral Ridge Cemetery.
