William P. Soll Jr.

William P. Soll Jr., 79, of Cape Coral, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008. He was born in Newark, N.J., in 1928 to William P. Sr. and Matilda Soll.

He married Charlotte in 1947. He lived in Irvington, N.J., for many years where he worked for Ceramaseal Industries. In 1969 he moved to Cape Coral and opened Bill Soll painting, which he operated for 20 years.

He retired in 2006. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3957.

He will be remembered as a loving husband and father whose life was a model for all who met him.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte of Cape Coral; son, William P. (Astrid) Soll III of Fort Myers; granddaughter, Nancy (Brian) Kellaher; and great-grandchildren, Logan, Landon and Lindsay.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 7 p.m. at the Metz Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends for viewing prior to the service from 5 to 7 p.m.
