Achieva Credit Union launches donation drive to support local food banks

By Staff | May 8, 2020

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic’s major impact on area communities, Achieva Credit Union is is donating $30,000 to help support food banks through west-central Florida and all the communities it serves.

To generate greater impact, Achieva is reaching out to the community to ask for contributions and is matching all donations dollar-for-dollar up to an additional $200,000. With the help of the public to reach this goal, Achieva is aiming to generate a total of $430,000 for local food banks.

“As a credit union, supporting the communities we serve is engrained in our DNA. With so many neighbors experiencing a negative financial impact from this pandemic, we’re committed to helping those most in need,” said Achieva Credit Union CEO Gary Regoli. “We’re asking our members and community to help us make an even greater impact. Please consider donating if you’re able to help your community during this difficult time.”

Donations will go to an organization in each county where Achieva has branches. If donors prefer that a contribution is earmarked for a specific county, they can make a selection for that in PayPal, or notate it on their check.

Lee County Cape Coral Caring Center

Pasco County One Community Now
