$17,000 worth of movies stolen from Cape Library
Approximately $17,000 worth of Blu-ray movies were reported stolen Monday from the Cape Coral-Lee County Public Library.
The branch manager at the library, at 921 S.W. 39th Terrace, told police that about 570 movies have gone missing since July 2010. The movies were not checked out, and alarm tags have been found in the men’s restroom.
The branch manager shared with police a possible suspect, and officers instructed her to contact police when the person visits the library again.
A list of the missing movies was placed into evidence.
