Bible School at the Baptist Church of Matlacha opened Monday.

Classes for youths 5 -15 will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the church at 3310 S.W. Pine Island Road, Matlacha.

The pastor is Mark Holland and the theme is “Firefighters for Christ.” The classroom has been decorated as a fire station, complete with a large replica fire truck, real hoses and items, including a jacket, hat and boots from 9/11.

The classes are free and open to the public.
