The Fort Myers Police Department were called to a possible drowning at 3:20 p.m. today.

A landscaper found a person at the bottom of a pool at a home in the 1400 block of San Roberto Circle.

The landscaper and another worker were able to get the victim out of the pool to attempt CPR but they were unsuccessful, officials said.

The owners of the home are out of state. The victim was staying at the address while doing renovation work on another home in the neighborhood, according to police.

Police are still on scene.
