Fort Myers police seize $5,500 in drugs

Police serving a search warrent on a Fort Myers home confiscated $5,500 in cocaine, a gun, and arrested a man found at the residence.

Fort Myers police served the warrant at 31 Kingsman Circle Friday.

Undercover detectives began their investigation after receiving numerous citizen complaints in reference to alleged drug activity at the home. Police seized 160 grams of cocaine and one Glock 9mm semiautomatic handgun. The cocaine has a street value worth about $5,500, officials said.

Police charged Pablo Bermudez, 49, of that address, with trafficking in cocaine.
