Fort Myers police made three arrests Friday after undercover officers bought a stolen motocycle from two of them, officials said Saturday.

After a month-long investigation, the Fort Myers Police Department conducted the controlled purchase of the stolen bike and served a search warrant at 2072 Maple Ave.

Police had originally responded to the Pep Boys at 4797 Cleveland Avenue in December in reference to the theft of four red and black, Baja Motorsport Dirt Runners. While investigating the case detectives developed information that Joseph Fisher, an employee of the business, and his fiance, Joelly Sostre, had several stolen motorcycles for sale, officials said.

After further investigation, on Jan. 29, an undercover detective placed a call to Sostre who reportedly told the detective she was selling motorcycles and handed the phone to Fisher, to work out the details. They agreed to sell the motorcycle to the detective for $250. Friday evening, the detective completed the transaction. Shortly after, officers executed a search warrant on the home.

Joseph Fisher, 23, was charged with grand theft auto, dealing in stolen property, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Joelly Sostre, 21, was charged with dealing in stolen property, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In addition, Ericson St. Victor, 20, was charged with for possession of firearm with an altered serial number, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In total police recovered two stolen motorcycles, one stolen compressor, two stolen laptops, a 25 cal. Semi-auto handgun (altered serial number), and 7 grams of marijuana, officials said.
