Five local women have been arrested on prostitution charges this week as a result of an undercover sting operation by the Cape Coral Police Department, according to city spokesperson Connie Barron.

Members of the Vice, Intelligence and Narcotics Unit conducted the operation on Tuesday and Wednesday, targeting females alleged to be soliciting sex over the internet, Barron said.

Two of the suspects also received drug charges.

Cindy Glode, 26, of 211 Gazelle Drive, North Fort Myers, was charged with prostitution and possession of narcotic equipment — a marijuana pipe police reportedly found after searching her purse.

Glode denied the allegation she committed prostitution.

“I didn’t take any money for any sexual favors,” Glode said Friday.

Glode said what she offered through her internet posting was an “erotic service” as a dominatrix, but that she did not offer to have sex with men who replied to her ad.

Glode said an undercover detective asked to have sexual intercourse for $200.

A police report states Glode said: “You wanna (have sex), right? That’s $200.”

Glode denies agreeing to sex.

“I said, ‘that’s not what happens,'” Glode said of her response to the detective.

“This charge is not going to stick, especially if there’s audio or video,” she said. “I think it’s very unfair. I consider it entrapment.

“I’m just a regular person trying to live a regular life.”

Others charged are:

n Jennifer Gay, 29, of 3758 Central Avenue, Apt. B, Fort Myers, was charged with prostitution, and possession of heroin, cocaine, a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after police searched her belongings.

Gay remained in the Lee County Jail Friday evening, according to booking logs.

n Amanda Longano, 23, of 7917 Grady Drive, North Fort Myers; Stasi Imperial, 37, of 2567 Broadway Avenue, Fort Myers; and Lorrie Stahl, 31, of 4316 Santa Barbara Boulevard S. each were charged with prostitution.

Glode, Stahl and Imperial have since been released from the Lee County Jail, according to booking logs.

Longano, Stahl and Imperial could not be reached for comment Friday night.
