Area residents and visitors are invited to the Cape Coral Yacht Club on Friday to check out an exciting and unique performer, Gabriel the Hypnotist.

“We have never had him perform before,” said Mark Hunter, recreation specialist for the city of Cape Coral. “This is going to be really unique. This will definitely be a one-of-a-kind show.”

The Cape Coral Yacht Club hosts a variety of events throughout the year, although most of the performers featured are more geared toward the younger crowd. Hunter said that this time, however, the hypnotist is definitely something an adult crowd will enjoy.

According to his bio, Gabriel’s amazing stage presence produces “the hottest, most hilarious and unforgettable hypnotic stage shows in the country.” He has traveled all over North America from the Bahamas to Las Vegas, Nev., performing his show for major Fortune 500 companies to large universities. His high energy and imagination creates an unforgettable show that audience members will truly love.

“We are so excited to be able to bring his unique comedy form here for the community,” said Hunter. “And his comedy is clean.”

Tickets for the show are $15 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. Hunter said he expects approximately 150 people in attendance.

“We already have about 30 tickets sold and we are hoping to sell out,” he said.

The event will be held in the main ballroom of the Cape Coral Yacht Club, located at 5819 Driftwood Parkway, from 7 to 8 p.m.

Hunter said he is encouraging people to come down and and check out this unique form of entertainment.

“We want the community to come down and enjoy the show,” he said. “We will provide some light refreshments. It is just going to be a good time.”
