MARCO ISLAND (AP) – Police are investigating how a 30-year-old Guatemalan man ended up dead and in an island canal.

Marco Island police say they’ve identified the man but won’t release his name until his family has been notified. The man worked and lived on the island.

His body was found by fishermen on Saturday afternoon. The cause of the man’s death hasn’t been released.
