LARGO (AP) – Authorities are investigating the deaths of three people and the shooting injury of a woman in a house near Tampa Bay as a possible murder-suicide.

Deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office were responding early Monday to a report of a suicidal person at the home in Largo.

When they arrived, a woman inside the house called for help. Deputies forced open a back door, then found the bodies of three people inside. No additional details were immediately available.

Sgt. Jim Bordner says the woman was a victim and suffered at least one bullet wound. She was transported to a hospital by helicopter.

Authorities did not release the woman’s name or the identities of the three people killed.
