Floridians prepare for more cold
MIAMI (AP) – Forecasters are warning Floridians to prepare for chilly weather again this weekend.
Some officials in north Florida are already bracing for the latest cold snap in the Sunshine State, and cold weather shelters will open in Milton on Thursday and Friday.
The National Weather Service predicts weekend temperatures to plunge into the upper 20s in Ocala and the mid 20s in Gainesville.
Residents in South Florida could be bundling up, too. The National Weather Service predicts that temperatures could drop over the weekend as a cold front moves through the area Friday.
